Renewable Energy. A hot topic in today’s world. But surprisingly young for its popularity. In 1980 Fossil Fuel was projected to take us far into the future, but ever rising gas prices have caused researchers to look into alternate energy. Environmental groups got into it trying to put an end to the pollution generated by power plants.


By the early 90’s, some scientists and journalists were claiming that the technology to produce all of our energy from the earth, wind, water, and sun were already available.

Your military has Taken a more active role in protecting our environment.

Project Description

I am working with NAS Fort Worth JRB specialists to write a new energy plan for the base.  The Pentagon has issued orders to all U.S. military installations in the continental U.S. to do this by using renewable energy.  The goal is to make all installation self sufficient.  NAS Fort Worth has a team of 14 specialists already working on the issue.  they predict that the research phase will take roughly three years to complete.  That is when they predict the actual implementation and installation to begin.  that process will take about 2-5 years to complete.
